Operations

Denmark participates in international missions in large parts of the world to ensure peace and stability. It takes place in a wide range of operations from unarmed observer missions to larger deployments.

Danish stabilisation effort

Danish soldiers participate in military operations in several conflict-affected areas around the world. However, military effort alone cannot ensure long-term stability.

The political decision making process

It is the Danish Government, with the involvement of the Danish Parliament, Folketinget, that decides whether to deploy Danish forces to international operations.
